Ethan Hahn is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-2 192 lb. frame from Ames, IA who attends Ames HS. Nice athletic build, tall and angular with some present strength and good projection. Slow paced delivery with hard acceleration to the plate, loses leverage with stride length, tight 3/4's release slot. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, tends to pull down hard and pull fastball to the glove side, easy to correct with adjustments. Rare change up but got good sink on the pitch with deceptive arm speed. Tends to drop elbow on curveball with soft spin, flashed better spin when out front. Lots of physical talent to develop with better delivery mechanics. Very good student.
