Ben Castiglia is a 2018 SS/RHP with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Scripps Ranch. Small frame, young immature build with significant remaining physical development. Sound skillset across the board with polish for age. Well controlled levers to swing, creates some barrel whip hitting from a slightly open stance with a toe tap trigger, projects well and held his own against significantly older competition in game at-bats. Good defensive actions, hands work. Fastball up to 72 mph with a compact arm action with good balance and direction to his delivery and slight downhill plane.
