Jacob Marroquin is a 2021 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Harlingen, TX who attends Harlingen HS. Recorded a 7.58 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with room and time for additional physical development. Primary shortstop who moves well and gets to the ball effectively. Has some athleticism to actions and range is impressive. Arm strength recorded up to 77 mph across the diamond with accurate throws. Righthanded hitter with a longer and full swing path. Very timed up and does a good job at extending out at the point of contact to impact the ball. Works to the middle of the field with a repeatable swing plane. Consistent with the barrel head out in front and power will increase with additional strength. Good student.
