Ga'Von Wray is a 2019 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-3 188 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Stephenson HS. Lean and slender frame with height and a good amount of projection still left. The primary outfielder had some athletic actions from the outfield with a shorter arm action and some arm strength. From the infield he fielded the ball cleanly with arm strength and carry out of his hand. Had an even stance at the plate with the ability to hit the baseball out in front. Swings with intent to drive the baseball from a line drive plane and leveraged well to the pull side. Good bat speed and strength with explosion in his swing. Had a good weight shift into the point of contact and generated backspin on line drives consistently. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot with a short arm action on the mound. The fastball had some occasional cutting life to it and sat from 75-77 mph and topped out at 79 mph. Mixed in a curveball with 12/6 movement and some good depth to the pitch as well. Good student.
