Luke Mansy is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Jamul, CA who attends St. Augustine. Medium build with room to fill, posted a 7.33 second sixty yard dash time. Primary infielder, glove works well to both sides, fields out in front and funnels well, works low through the baseball with quick and fluid actions. Over the top slot with decent carry across the diamond. Limited carry from other slots. At the plate, uses a conventional, slightly open stance with a hanging leg kick trigger. Creates a solid hand coil into his simple load. Heavy uphill barrel plane through the zone with solid bat speed. Good fluidity to his swing overall with projectable hands that work direct to the baseball. Middle of the field approach with present pop to his pull side. Excellent student with a 4.0 GPA. Named to the SoCal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
