Aaron Combs is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Young athletic build with a young overall look, very projectable physically. Side step delivery coming to a 3/4's to mid 3/4's arm slot, compact arm action that hides the ball well, will spin off his front foot at times on release. Steady upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, gets nice running life on his fastball from the lower arm slots. Has good feel for a 11/5 curveball that he drops in for strikes, gets similar life on a solid change up with good arm speed at release. Doesn't throw a pitch straight and fills up the strike zone with three pitches. Good bet to keep improving as he gets more physically mature. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Coastal Carolina.
