Jacob Escalon is a 2020 C/RHP/1B/3B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Breckenridge, TX who attends Breckenridge HS. Large frame with square shoulders and present strength throughout. Ran a 7.47 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Quick transfer while gaining ground out of the stance. Athletic movements out with strong and online transfer topping out at 81 miles per hour and a workout pop of 1.84. Also worked out as a secondary first baseman. Glides around the bag with athletic footwork. Fields with soft hands out front. Strong arm with accuracy at 83 miles per hour. Also worked out in the infield. Fields the ball out front with a clean funnel to the body. Moves well surrounding the baseball and working through it. Strong carry across the diamond. Righthanded hitter narrow and even stance.
