Carter Haase is a 2018 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary. Compact frame, broad shoulders, athletic build, has room to fill out and develop. Right handed hitter, wide base, hands at shoulders at setup. Solid weight transfer, rotational, arm-heavy swing with sweeping path. Shows developing hand quickness and bat speed, inconsistent extension, flashes feel for barrel when able to get the bat head out, best when working to middle of the field. Moves solidly in the field, fundamental footwork with soft hands. Shows ability to work through the baseball, developing arm strength with accurate arm. Very good student.
