Ace Reese is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Canton, TX who attends Canton. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to add more strength. Left handed hitter, starts from an open stance with a tight hand load, gets into his hips and lower half well and develops nice bat speed, best when he's getting extended and driving the barrel through contact, has the ability to create carry and backspin and projects additional power as he gets stronger, good game swings with nice barrel control. 7.13 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder who shows good arm strength from a high arm slot and makes accurate on line throws. Also played some infield and was plenty athletic enough to play third base with his lower half actions and arm strength. Good student. Named to the Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
