Shane Telesz is a 2018 RHP/2B, OF with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Ponderosa. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 7.28 sixty-yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Creates some coil over back leg at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Showed some front side swing while working to the plate but lands in line and carries momentum through finish. Medium arm circle back at separation and released from a three-quarters arm slot. Consistently located fastball to the bottom of the strike zone in the low to upper 70's, topped at 79 miles per hour. Curveball had 11/5 shape with good spin and solid depth in the upper 60's. Also flashed a deceptive arm action with a changeup offering that had some sink and run to arm side at 70 mils per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield, funnels baseball from deeper position and works through transfer with smooth paced actions. Generated good momentum to the bag while released from a three-quarters arm slot topping at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Flashed some lower half shift int contact with a loose, line drive barrel plane through extension. Showed good balance whens staying behind the baseball and working to the middle of the field. When squared, baseball jumped off the barrel creating loud contact with carry to the gaps.
