Cameron Langston is a 2018 SS/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Paducah, KY who attends McCracken County. Medium frame, slender athletic build, plenty of room to fill out at maturity. Right handed hitter, narrow, open upright stance, toe-tap timing mechanism, can clear hips early. Shows good bat speed for age, has solid feel for the barrel, keeps hands inside the baseball with a line drive swing path. Developing power to the pullside, shows some natural carry and loft. Primary infielder, shows good body control and athleticism, made nice play on slow roller. Loose, fluid arm-action with solid, developing arm strength. Also plays outfield, fields to side, arm plays well, could incorporate more lower-half into throwing mechanics. Good footspeed, ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. Good student.
