Cameron Draehn is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 5-6 132 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham HS. Shorter young slender build. Right handed hitter, balanced swing approach, long loose swing with good extension out front, handles the barrel well and makes consistent contact, has the swing mechanics and fundamentals to hit with additional strength. 7.61 runner, has the same high level fundamentals in the outfield, good actions to the ball and proper footwork, arm works well, physically resembles a second baseman. Also pitched, gets front side closed well, a bit cross body on release, over the top arm slot, repeats delivery well. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 76 mph, mostly straight, soft curveball, commanded fastball well. Good student.
