Rudy Maxwell is a 2018 C/3B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Brentwood, TN who attends Ensworth High School. Large, projectable frame with a very tall build and good strength already. Posted a 7.14 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, showed a quick transfer with impressive arm strength up to 77 mph and top pop time of 1.85 in workouts. At the plate, started with an open stance with a glide into contact and a hand set close to his body. Torques well through his lower half and showed good raw power with jump off his barrel. Tools translated well to games with good barrel feel and lift. Will see hit tool improve with more consistent timing of barrel release. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
