Dustin Tish is a 2015 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Belton, TX who attends Belton HS. Slender young pitcher's build, very projectable physically. Compact arm action, high 3/4's arm slot, slow paced delivery, stays on line to the plate well, some lean back to let arm get through. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, maintained his velocity well from the stretch, fastball mostly straight. Nice change up with good arm speed and release point, soft curveball can be tightened up with more power. Showed his arm strength from the outfield, touching 92 mph with accurate on line throws. Right handed hitter, open stance with a high hand slot, swings hard with a line drive swing plane, tends to hit under the ball but has the hitting tools to keep improving at the plate. Very good student.
