Blake Webster is a 2019 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-11 205 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westlake. Webster has a medium sized frame with a thick stocky build. Defensively he has developing actions at 1B with developing footwork around the bag. He has arm strength up to 68 MPH with a wrapped arm action. At the plate, Webster starts with a slightly open stance from a slight crouch. He has a shallow load with a short swing path to the baseball. Webster made contact from the middle of the field to the opposite field. There's more bat speed and pop in there with a few adjustments to his approach. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm action. Webster competes on the mound and attacked hitters. Very good student.
