Benjamin Content is a 2018 RHP/UT with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak HS. Medium athletic build, loose projectable actions in all regards. Slow paced simple delivery, throws with little effort from a compact arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, works consistently to the glove side with an ability to spot the ball, will need to work arm side more often. Has lots of confidence in two solid breaking balls. True slider has a short and consistent lane changing break. Curveball shows a big 12/6 downer shape with sharp biting action at times. Should continue to improve in all areas on the mound. Good athlete with two-way potential. 7.19 runner, big out field arm strength when he gets behind the ball, also shows good arm strength and first step quickness in the infield. Right handed hitter with good timing and hitting mechanics, direct path to the ball with solid line drive contact. Good student.
