Jordan Walker is a 2019 OF/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Huntington, WV who attends Huntington. Large frame with an athletic build and present strength. Projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.39 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth, extended strides while closing on baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball with developing fluidity. Clean glove to hand exchanges while working through transition. Creates an extended arm circle back at separation and releases from a loose three-quarters slot, topped at 76 mph. Throws created accurate, on line carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance. Generates torque at load by creating slight coil and wrap. Loose swing path to contact with a leveraged swing plane. Has solid bat speed and strength at contact when timed, primarily working to the pull side gap. Flashed the ability to turn barrel to baseball producing loud contact with good back spin and carry to pull side. Shows projectable raw bat speed and power potential. Tools will continue to develop with fluidity and mechanical refinements.
