Brock Nowell is a 2017 C with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Wilmington, DE who attends Conrad School of Science. Medium, athletic frame with a lean and projectable build with room to fill out. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, sound actions behind the plate, blocks well in the dirt and recover, light on feet, short arm action from ear, accurate throws, shows nice tools that will continue to improve. Left-handed hitter, starts with a high hand set with an upright stance and an open base. Quick and easy swing, shifts weight through lower half, line drive contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field, consistent barrel, generates some lift in swing. Nice extension in swing, shows tools that need to be followed. Named to Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List. Good student.
