Logan Easley is a 2017 MIF/RHP with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Rogers Heritage. Medium-large frame with solid, athletic present build and good physical projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Hits from open stance with wide base and high hand set, line drive swing plane with line drive results to all fields, has solid bat speed and projects for more power with increased strength. Showed good footwork defensively in the infield, moving well side to side and surrounding the ball, shows soft hands at the ball both to forehand and backhand. Transfers cleanly and shows advanced arm strength across the infield, up to 86 MPH. Pitched as well, shorter and quick arm action to mid three quarters slot, good balance in delivery and gets online well. Fastball worked 80-83 MPH and touched 84 MPH with solid arm side life; mixed in a solid curveball with good spin and a changeup that has late fade at the plate. Very good student. Named to 2016 Sunshine Southeast Top Prospect List. Verbally committed to Wichita State.
