Parker Kelly is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Wichita Falls, TX who attends Wichita Falls. Young, athletic build with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out. Primary shortstop, throws from a lower arm slot across the diamond, stays upright at release, shows strength on throws across and will continue to develop more. Also pitched, throws from a three-quarter arm slot on the mound with a full arm action in the back. Simple leg raise with some extension out front at release. Gets on top of fastball well and works downhill, topped out at 75 mph with occasional arm side run. Showed a 12-6 curveball with depth at 58 mph and flashed a changeup at 60 mph. Right-handed batter, starts with a low hand set and an upright stance. Upper body swing, short path to ball with a compact swing and keeps hands close while getting the barrel through the zone. Outstanding student.
