Adam Arroyo is a 2020 C/ with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Laguna Niguel, CA who attends Capistrano Valley. Athletic build with present strength. Ran a 7.08 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Employs a low slightly open stance with confident receiving actions. Flashed quick feet working from behind the plate into throws with good arm strength and quick transfers topping out at 84 MPH and posting a 1.81 second pop time. Displayed a quick arm action with good arm speed from behind the plate as well. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright stance with a hanging leg kick load. Flashed a fast direct hand path to the ball creating whippy barrel actions. Showed the ability to get extended out front working the barrel with good bat speed to the pull side creating consistent loud line drive contact. Flashed gap to gap power during batting practice as well with some driven contact to and through the gaps. Named to the 2019 Sunshine West Top Prospect List.
