Will Long is a 2018 C/1B with a 6-3 186 lb. frame from Limestone, TN who attends David Crockett High School. Extra-large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Primary catcher, side saddle start, quick, clean transfer skills, lower arm slot, and raw arm strength. Posted a workout pop time of 1.96. At the plate, started with a closed stance, low back elbow, high hand set, and a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Short hand path with a linear swing plane to the ball. Intent to drive the ball into swing with ability to impact the ball off the barrel. Flashed leverage and with a clean hand path will find more consistent results.
