Robert "Rob" Hamby is a 2017 RHP with a 6-6 215 lb. frame from Demorest, GA who attends Lakeview Academy. Long and lean build, lots of physical projection left. Deep multi-piece arm action, high 3/4' arm slot with some backward lean, short stride out front, difficult mechanics to repeat. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, has been consistently up to 88 mph in the past, mostly straight. Low 70's curveball flashed good depth at times when he was on top of it. Good student.
