Luke Bandy is a 2016 SS/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Bentonville, AR who attends Shiloh Christian HS. Athletic tightly wound build, good present strength with room for more in the future. Very good runner, 6.57 in the sixty. Right handed hitter, straight stance, hits tall, hands generated rotational swing, stays short and quick to the ball, line drive contact, mid field to pull side contact, handles the barrel well and keeps his mechanics and timing simple, will beat out balls in the infield, some gap power with more to come. Plays upright on defense, short quick steps, charges the ball well, good arm strength with carry on his throws. Physically resembles former #1 overall pick Tim Beckham. Good student, verbal commitment to Dallas Baptist.
