Ryan Diaz is a 2018 SS/2B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from New Rochelle, NY who attends Iona Preparatory. Medium frame with athletic, projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.91 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly open, narrow-based stance; high back elbow, line drive swing plane through the zone, shows solid bat speed, middle-field approach. Shows good barrel skills, matches plane well, successful at spraying line drives. Worked out in the infield; shows good hip swivel and quality footwork, glove works well out front, clean actions throughout, flashes accurate throwing arm clocked up to 76 mph. Excellent student.
