Zach Diewert is a 2015 OF with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Chemainus, BC who attends Chemainus Secondary School. Big strong athletic build, football running back look. Right handed hitter, late short leg kick load, will change eye level at times, hand drop load from a high set, very good bat speed, ball jumps off the barrel hard, lots of pull and lift ability but drove ball to right centerfield as well, multiple game extra base hits. 6.90 runner, 4.39 home to first, 4.55 turn, runs hard at all times and is a high energy player. Athletic actions to the ball in the outfield, good footwork and throwing mechanics, long loose arm with on line accurate throws. Very good all around player with a high offensive ceiling.
