TJ Snedden is a 2018 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Sussex, WI who attends Arrowhead HS. Large, broad shouldered frame with a solid build. Ran a 7.87 sixty yard dash. Primary first baseman with smooth, fundamental glove actions while funneling the baseball out front. Flashed athletic actions with good range while moving to each side. Releases from a high three-quarters slot topping at 72 mph across the infield. Throws produced solid carry with accuracy to the bag. Right handed hitter with a spread, straight stance and leg lift trigger. Hands start at a compact set and launch on a direct path. Barrel works through the zone on a naturally leverage plane through extension. Stays balanced throughout with a mid-field approach. Flashed the ability to turn the barrel to contact and generate hard, loud contact to the pull side gap. Also pitched showing a clean, long arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Utilizes lower half well while driving to the plate. Lands in line with the plate and carries momentum well through finish. Fastball showed occasional downward angle to the plate topping at 73 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape with tight rotation and good depth. Consistently worked down in the strike zone and induced weak, ground ball contact. Good student as well.
