Angel Alvarez Walker is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 195 lb. frame from N Las Vegas, NV who attends Rancho HS. Thick football type build, very strong for his age. Right handed hitter, spread stance with a hand drop load, aggressive swing, has real strength when the ball is squared up and can drive the ball to all fields, tends to stop his swing abruptly out in front instead of letting the barrel fly, hit much better in games when he wasn't thinking about swing mechanics. 7.21 runner, runs well for his size in the outfield, long inverted arm action. Power is his tool.
