Jaxon Passino is a 2017 SS/3B/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Manchester, MO who attends Rockwood Summit HS. Has a large, athletic farme, strong build, thick lower half, clear sign of present strength in body. Posted a 7.21 60-yard dash. From the infield, showed athletic actions, good hands, solid range, generates good momentum to and through the baseball. Made accurate throws to the bag with carry, arm strength was up to as high as 82 MPH. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance and high back elbow. Has a short, compact swing on a line drive swing plane. Has a gap to gap approach with present strength and bat speed, natural lift at the point of contact, looks to hit the ball with authority with every swing. On the mound, throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with long arm circle through the back. Fastball has good life in the zone, comes out of his hand well, has heaviness, gets on hitters quickly. Curveball has 10/4 sweeping action, good depth, tight break. Arm works well, velocity should continue to improve as he further develops.
