Miles Gary is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Christian HS. Gary has a medium sized frame with an athletic strong build. Defensively he has a quick arm action with arm strength up to 79 MPH. Gary has solid footwork to the baseball and solid actions. He can make outfield velocity gains by playing through the baseball quicker. At the plate, Gary starts with a wide base and leaned over stance. He has a short wristy swing with lots of hand strength. Gary has some bat speed with a high finish. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He has some arm speed and works from the stretch. Gary gets a slight hip turn at balance point and an online delivery. He gets some down plane on his fastball with some run on it as well. Gary throws an 11/5 curveball at 65 MPH with developing shape and spin. Interesting two way player. Excellent student.
