Lance Henson is a 2018 OF/3B with a 5-11 164 lb. frame from Pauline, SC who attends Dorman High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.33 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, short steps to the ball, short arm action, quickness to the arm, and developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a tall, slightly open stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Deeper hand load a the start with a line drive swing plane through the zone. Generates torque with a swing that primarily works through the upper half. Will continue to improve and show consistency with additional lower half incorporation. Very good student.
