Jake Hennessy is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-5 216 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Clark HS. Big and strong athletic build, strong core and hips, projectable upper half, has a physical presence on the field. Loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot, arm works well coming through, clean directional delivery, repeats his mechanics well, gets good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running action. Slurve type breaking ball with occasional sweeping depth. Mechanics are in place for him to keep improving with more repetitions and maturity. Right handed hitter, power approach at the plate with a spread, no stride approach. Very good student.
