Joshua Yellen is a 2018 SS/3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Bloomfield Hills, MI who attends Cranbrook Schools. Large frame with very good size and present physicality throughout. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.22 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright, even-based stance with high hand set away from body. Rotational swing in torso, sinks hips into swing well, middle-field approach with feel to work to all fields. Positive launch angles with rising line drive results; showed ability to get barrel out front and generate good jump off the barrel at times. Worked out in the infield; moves well to both sides with quality 3B range, works through ball well and shows clean glove actions, gets off clean release across the diamond with throws clocked up to 75 mph. Good student.
