Van Neeley is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Mcintosh. Medium frame with an athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Right handed hitter with a narrow, straight stance. Primarily uses a mid-field approach with a line drive swing plane. Flashed the hand and barrel control to work the baseball to all fields as well. Hands show some fast twitch actions that produce bat speed. Worked out defensively from the outfield showing aggressive closing actions to the baseball. Uphill release with solid arm action that produces one line carry with accuracy. Athletic actions while moving to baseball and through transition with clean glove skills. Tools project with physical maturity. Good student as well.
