Brady Simpson is a 2019 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Sprayberry HS. Slender, athletic build with room to grow on his frame. Ran a 7.73 60-yard dash. Primary pitcher who graded out best on the mound. Throws from a three-quarter arm slot and an overall delivery that is very easy and deceptive at times. Long arm action with some fluidity to his pitching motion and does a good job at hiding the ball. Consistently in the strike zone and gets on a downhill plane which helped to generate weak contact. Showed feel for controlling the running game and had a good pickoff move as well. Attacked hitters with his fastball, which sat from 76-79 mph and had late arm side run, and he mixed in a short slider with late break. Worked out in the outfield where he showed a clean fielding ability and overall smoothness in his mechanics. At first base he had a quick release with clean glove actions and throws that carried and were accurate. Short swing at the plate with a compact swing path and a shorter hand path to the ball. Good student.
