Aiden Crowley is a 2018 OF/3B/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Coralville, IA who attends Iowa City West HS. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Right handed hitter with a even, balanced stance and high back elbow set. Compact, inside path to contact with occasional shift. Line drive swing plane that producted line drive, ground ball contact to the middle of the field. Worked out defensively form the outfield showing solid closing actions to baseball with a smooth glove to hand exchanges. Quick release from a three quarters arm slot with a rotational release, topped at 77 mph from the outfield. Aggresive, developing glove actions. Also pitched with a smooth tempo, two piece arm action. Generates some arm side run with fastball from a high three quarters arm slot in the mid 70's. Repeats mechanics and arm slot well. Curveball has 11/5 shape with some spin and occasional depth in the low to mid- 60's. Throws in the zone often inducing soft contact. Good student. Tools should continue to improve with physical maturity and fluidity.
