Brady Thompson is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Waverly, IA who attends Waverly-Shell Rock HS. Medium frame, athletic build, room to add additional muscle as he continues to mature. Primary right-handed pitcher that throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and has long, loose arm action. Fastball works down in the zone, 11/5 curveball shape, big break. From the outfield, works through the baseball, throws from a short over the top arm slot, gets good carry on accurate throws. At the plate, starts with a squared stance and a crouched load. Bat tap timing mechanism starts swing. Full swing, pull side approach. Projectable frame. Excellent student.
