Trevor Simonian is a 2017 C/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Malibu, CA who attends Malibu. Medium-Large frame with good present build and athleticism; projects well physically. Hits from straight stance, squared to the plate, projects well with the bat moving forward as he continues to add strength. Opposite-field approach to hitting, has strength off the barrel with more coming, shows good plate coverage as well. Will develop more HR power moving forward as well. Sets up a bit high behind the plate, receives well, stands up to throw down to 2B with solid arm strength. Turned in a pop time as low as 2.01 seconds on throws down to 2B. Very good student.
