Eric Cha is a 2024 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Harrington Park, NJ who attends Northern Valley Regional. Big and strong well proportioned athletic build. Right handed hitter, has a well balanced stance with a short shift into contact, well controlled lower half, high contact approach, gets the barrel out on time, uses his strong hands to impact the ball, rarely opens up his swing and that works for him, handles off speed stuff especially well. Third base tools on defense, fields the ball out front cleanly, step by step actions, has good arm strength across the diamond. Also pitched, has some potential as a two-way prospect. Stays on line well down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot, slow pace from a side step start, long arm takeaway in back, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, has some sink and run and throws strikes well with his fastball. Slider has some spin and depth when he's on top of it. Consistent performer with strong fundamentals and the ability to play. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
