Slater Foust is a 2016 3B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Liberty Hill HS. Tall well proportioned athletic build, very good present strength. Right handed hitter, spread stance, moves into contact well, short swing with an inside hand path, high average contact approach, line drives to all fields, stands close to the plate and will get jammed at times with his swing approach, has power potential that can be tapped with swing adjustments. 7.26 runner, has good lateral foot quickness at third base, fields the ball out front well, good arm strength with carry from a long, loose arm action, also plays first base but has solid present third base tools. High 3/4's arm action on the mound from a hand drop delivery, fastball topped at 82 mph with lots of sinking and running action, curveball showed good spin and depth, rare change up, pounded the strike zone and was very effective. Solid all around player. Good student.
