Fernando Figueroa is a 2015 RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends International Baseball Academy HS. Tall loose build, projects well physically. Multi-part delivery with lots of variables and has some deception, high 3/4's arm action, works downhill when he doesn't drift out in his delivery. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph early, mostly straight, throws his fastball to spots well and challenges hitters, all fastballs the first two innings. Soft curveball with a low elbow release, gets some 12/6 downer depth occasionally, can mix pitches better for better effectiveness.
