Brandon Birdsell is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Willis, TX who attends Conroe HS. Very nice athletic build, good present strength with more to come. Well paced delivery with a good pause over the rubber, 3/4's arm action, mechanics from the stretch still young and needing balance/direction. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, gets run and sink down in the zone. Slider flashed late tilting life with tight spin and bite, let up on one slider for curveball shape and depth with good effect. Rare firm change up. Very good athlete who is recovering from TJ surgery and impressed with his stuff and feel. Could really come on with time as he definitely has the ability. Good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
