Luis Acevedo is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Coral Springs, FL who attends Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS. Slender young build, minimal present strength. 7.56 runner, good actions in the infield, light on his feet with good footwork through the ball, soft hands and a good exchange, second base arm strength at present. Left handed hitter, open stance with a deep and high hand set, level rotational swing, contact approach and will hit the ball to all fields, gets out of the box quickly after contact. Has good baseball skills and fundamentals and will improve with additional strength. Very good student.
