Tyler Burnett is a 2020 3B/RHP/MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran HS. Lean frame with a lanky build and room on the body for additional strength. Primary third baseman where hands work well and made the plays effectively. Gets down well with quick hands and showed arm strength. Secondary righthanded pitcher who hides the ball well and throws from a higher, tight arm slot. Drop and drive backside mechanics when working downhill. Flashed a slider with mostly horizontal break to it. Righthanded hitter with an all fields approach and looks to lift. Spread open with no stride and a simple trigger into the swing. Makes contact when out in front and has a short, contact oriented swing path. Good student.
