Dalton Baxley is a 2018 RHP/MIF/OF with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Enterprise, MS who attends Enterprise HS Lean and lanky build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. Compact delivery with plenty of deception, tight low 3/4's release point, medium effort at release but repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with good cutting action to it. Go to pitch was a low 70's breaking ball he threw with very good feel, was able to vary the break and depth and throw it to spots. Good athlete, runs a 6.82 sixty and has some fast twitch actions on defense, especially in the infield, shows his arm strength well on defense. Short right handed swing on the plate with an early load, simple direct swing from a low hand start, handles the barrel well for consistent contact. Good student.
