Jaydon Graves is a 2019 2B/SS/OF with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Greenacres, FL who attends Palm Beach Central HS. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.53 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows nice footwork moving towards the ball, sound first step to the ball, fields out front and hands play nicely, works through the ball with lower half, full arm action, arm strength plays at second base now and will continue to develop, accurate throws across diamond. Switch-hitter, skills and swing are more developed from right side at present time. Begins with an upright, open stance and a high back elbow in the box, simple leg lift trigger for timing from right side. Loose and extended swing path, contact approach and gets the barrel out front, stays short to the ball with swing, one handed follow through, projects with additional physicality. Stays inside with bat path from left side, works the opposite field and employs a contact approach. Good student.
