2021 Summer Main Event Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ryan Schatte is a 2022 LHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Parkview. Solid athletic build with good present strength and long limbs for his height. Works from the stretch with his arms extended in front to start his delivery, high front side over the rubber with drop and drive lower half mechanics, medium length arm action in back with an over the top arm slot coming through, hides the ball well. Fastball worked up to 82 mph, gets nice arm side running life at times. Slider showed some power and sweeping depth, added and subtracted from his fastball with a change up effect. Strong bodied left hander with some deception who will keep improving with better command of his pitches. Very good student.
