Jordan White is a 2021 RHP/SS with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from King, NC who attends West Stokes HS. Medium frame with long limbs and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple rock step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall and balanced on back side at gather. Works to the plate with drop and drive lower half actions. Tends to land at a slightly closed position on front side. Deep arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball generated solid running action with sink in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 79 miles per hour. Also flashed the ability to cut fastball when working to glove side. Curveball had 11/5 shape with good spin and solid depth when staying on top of offering. Repeated delivery well and showed the ability to work ahead, and stay ahead of hitters. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing clean footwork while ranging to and surrounding the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange with some fluidity. Released from a three-quarters slot creating some on line carry to the bag at 76 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and toe tap trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Clean hand path to contact with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. When on time, showed good feel for the barrel while working to the middle of the field. Very good student as well.
