Dylan Gentry is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Danielsville, GA who attends Madison County HS. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. High 3/4's to over the top arm slot, lands closed out front and will spin off and recoil at release, creates lots of angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 91 mph early, mostly upper 80's, mostly straight and does a nice job of throwing his fastball for strikes and can get to both sides of the plate. Downer curveball shows tight spin and bite at times, not consistent in release yet. Understands sequencing and has an idea how to pitch. Did not show a change up but will need one at the next level. Good student.
