Jeffrey Cardazzone is a 2019 C/1B, 3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends Nova. Medium frame with an athletic build and wiry strength. Frame projects for additional strength. Primary catcher with a slightly side set stance while receiving the baseball. Gains ground while working out of crouch with quick footwork. Quick, compact arm circle while working through exchange and released from a three-quarters slot. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 71 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 2.14. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple leg lift trigger. Works to contact with linear lower half actions. Clean hand path to contact with a smooth, line drive barrel plane. Displayed good balanced throughout with the ability to handle the barrel throughout the zone. Primarily worked to the middle of the field on a line, but flashed the ability to turn the barrel and work to the pull side gap as well. Very good student.
